Metric Wrapped V-Belts
VARIBELT*VX® Metric Wrapped V-Belts have a deeper cross-section than the Clas- sic V-belts, but uses the same top width.
VARIBELT*VX® Metric Wrapped V-Belts are similar to VARIBELT*VX® Classic V-Belts, except they carry British standard specifications and a different angle.
VARIBELT*VX® Metric Wrapped V-Belts are supplied in 10mm (SPZ), 13mm (SPA), 17mm (SPB) and 22mm (SPC) widths.
The narrower section profile of VARIBELT*VX® Metric Wrapped V-Belts provides a larger contact surface with the pulley, transmitting substantially more power and provides greater flexibility and stability.
• The increased height of its sidewalls (deeper profile) ensures excellent grip and thus, greater power ratings.
• The tensile member which is specially treated high-strength polyester tension cords;
1- Provide increased power capacity, enabling the belt to operate at higher linear speeds
2- Diffuse tensile forces and tolerates recurrent shock loads.
• The fabric cover provides excellent grip and protection against external agents and resistance to abrasion.
• Aramid Cord construction is available.
VARIBELT*VX® Metric Wrapped V-Belts are used in all light to medium industrial ap- plications. They are an ideal solution for drives where space limitations, weight and/ or higher power capacity are important factors.
• General mechanical engineering applications from pumps and compressors to agricultural machinery and stone crushers.

Designed to perform at identical or higher levels, Varibelt VX V-belts and Agrobelt V-belts are dimensionally and functionally equivalent to V-belts produced by major American and European manufacturers.
VARIBELT*VX® Metric Wrapped V-Belts;
• Have good resistance to mineral oils and temperatures between -40°C and +70°C (+80°C for short periods.
• Conform to international standards ISO 4184, DIN 7753 (geometry), NF T-47 141 and BS 3790.
• Meet ISO standard 1813 for static conductivity
• Are length-stable and do not need to be measured for installation in sets.
Now made with EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer), a synthetic rubber with outstanding properties, VARIBELT VX® Metric Wrapped V-Belts are static conductive, more durable, and more resistant to heat, hardening, and glazing than ever before.
