Variable Speed V-Belts

VARIBELT*VX® Variable Speed Belts are designed for applications which require exact speed control.

Constructional Details:

• Polychloroprene rubber compound is filled with reinforcing fibers which are placed diagonally to the running direction of the belt.
• Low stretch and high quality polyester or aramid tension cords are built in.
• There is a special fabric outer surface which allows for high rigidity without decreasing the flexibility of the belt.
• The superior belt construction allows for very good power transmission capability and for high dynamic loads.

Advantages of VARIBELT*VX® Variable Speed Belts;

• Superior gripping thanks to raw edge sidewalls • Longer service life
• Smooth running
• Temperature range: -25°C to +100°C
• Superior diagonal rigidity and flexibility in length allows for higher power transmission in minimum diameter pulleys.
• High resistance to aging caused by oil, heat, grease and wear thanks to specially formulated rubber compound • Static dissipating

Applications:

• Variable speed pulley drives requiring exact speed control and maximum range of speed changes such as; • recreational equipment such as snowmobiles and ATVs
• machine tools
• agricultural applications
• industrial variable speed drives

Varibelt VX® V-belts exceed USA RMA published ratings levels.

Varibelt VX® V-belts are manufactured to meet the same RMA/ISO Standards as all other major American or European Manufacturers’ belts of the same type. Designed to perform at identical or higher levels, Varibelt VX V-belts and Agrobelt V-belts are dimensionally and functionally equivalent to V-belts produced by major American and European manufacturers.

Now made with EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer), a synthetic rubber with outstanding properties, VARIBELT VX® Variable Speed V-Belts are static conductive, more durable, and more resistant to heat, hardening, and glazing than ever before.
Aramid (Kevlar®) Cord construction is available. We can manufacture all V-belts with Aramid (Kevlar®) Cord construction.
